This course is an eight-week introduction to the study of the Bible. It will equip the student to read the books of the Old and New Testament with an understanding of their meaning in light of Jesus Christ. The course will discuss the origin and content of the Bible, basic principles for interpreting the Bible, characteristics of the Bible’s various genre (types of writing) and helps for leading others in the study of the Bible.
