December 17th marks 125 years since five churches gathered in Milwaukee, WI, to form the Church of the Lutheran Brethren. Our Biennial Convention, on June 13-16, 2026, will be almost exactly 125 years since the first convention of the CLB, which took place in Duluth, MN, on June 6-9, 1901.
Will you join us in celebrating this significant moment, either in person in Fergus Falls, MN, or by hosting your own celebration with your church? We have provided promotional materials below, and videos and other media for the event will be available by December 1st.
1. In-Person Event
Sunday, December 14, 2025 (No RSVP needed)
2:00-4:30 PM
Bethel Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls (map & directions)
This will be a live event that includes fellowship, dessert, worship, greetings, a short documentary on the history of the CLB, and a time of prayer. Promotional materials to promote the in-person event are available to download below. Since it’s December in Minnesota, we are scheduling the event so everyone is able to drive to and from the event before it gets dark.
2. Host Your Own
Videos, prayer booklets, and other resources to use as you host your own celebration will be available for you to download by November 30. Most of the media is what will be used at the in-person event, along with other resources to assist you as you host your own event. If you need us to print the materials for you, please let us know soon so we can make sure we get those materials to you on time.
Promotional Resources
Slides, bulletin inserts, and social media graphics to promote the in-person event, as well as customizable files to promote your own event.
